In business, protecting the environment is inherently intertwined with sustainability. We take our commitment to the environment seriously. Our approach starts with a clear vision from our leaders, supported by consistent policies and practices that place the environment at the core of the business. This is supported by a substantial investment in state-of-the-art manufacturing and environmental controls, modern infrastructure and product and process innovation. The end result is sustainable products made responsibly and efficiently.
Protecting the Environment for Generations to Come
McWane is committed to a clean environment, today and for generations to come. McWane has invested millions in capital improvements and operations related to environmental protection. These expenditures include projects such as state-of-the-art air pollution control systems, stormwater collection and treatment systems, and other equipment upgrades intended to protect the environment.
Success stories of environmental improvements and innovative pollution prevention and control projects at McWane facilities are provided here.
Environmental Management System
Consistently managing environmental issues for an industrial manufacturing enterprise across more than 30 manufacturing facilities worldwide is a complex task. This is accomplished through our Environmental Management System (EMS) as a part of a comprehensive EHS Management Program. Our EMS is based upon the principles of ISO 14001 and many McWane facilities are ISO14001 registered.
The EMS provides all facilities with a consistent platform for identifying and managing environmental activities efficiently to achieve governmental and company standards.
Our facilities utilize state-of-the-art environmental technologies and infrastructure. In addition to producing environmentally friendly products, we continue to make our facilities more environmentally friendly.
Environmental Excellence stories from some of our facilities are showcased here. We are proud to highlight these accomplishments, which are the results of investments of time, resources and money into reducing our environmental footprint.
