Alabama Dynamics delivers custom solutions for each project we produce. Our highly skilled employees form, fabricate and stress relieve carbon, stainless and alloy steel materials to complete our projects. Because we are skilled in a variety of welding processes, we can handle many types and sizes of projects. This, combined with our ISO quality system, gives our customers the confidence that contract requirements for fabricated components will be met.

Fabrication Capabilities

  • Welding Processes: SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GMAW, GTAW in carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steels
  • Welders are qualified to AWS D1.1; ASME Section IX; AWS D1.6; ASTM A488
  • 40,000 pound welding positioned
  • Oxy/acetylene and plasma burning equipment
  • Band saws and abrasive cutoff saws.
  • Ironworker
  • Hydraulic punches up to 120 tons
  • (1) 25 ton mobile crane / (1) 15 ton mobile crane / (2) 15 ton forklifts
  • (2) Cranes up to 30 tons / (8) 2 ton column-mounted jib cranes

Outside Forming Services

  • Press brakes up to 1,000 tons x 40’
  • Plate rolls up to 3-1/2” x 14’
  • Angle rolls up to 8” x 8” x 1”
  • Beam rolls up to 40” beams
  • Piping bending through 12” Diameter

Outside Heat Treating Services

  • Oven sizes from 6’ L x 3’ W x 3’ H to 48’ L x 19’ W x 16’ H
  • Maximum temperature 2,200 degrees
  • Crane capacity to 85,000 pounds
  • Stress relief by ASME, AWS or customer specifications
  • Normalize, anneal, spheroidizing, water quench & temper, solution anneal of stainless steels, oil quench & temper, carbide removal, carburize/carbon nitride, carbon restoration
