Last week, McWane hosted its Biennial IT/Finance conference in Birmingham, AL. Over the course of the week, the 110 finance and IT attendees from McWane’s family of companies shared company updates and industry best practices, focusing primarily on risk management, cybersecurity and technology updates. The three-day meeting was an incredible opportunity to build company-wide relationships by bringing together new and seasoned employees.
The conference also highlighted The McWane Way principle of excellence through the announcement of the first IT Excellence Award which was awarded to Clow Canada’s IT Administrator Adam Lang. Adam was recognized for his professionalism and dedication to the success of the Clow Canada team, always going above and beyond in his field and being a key player in the implementation of many new technologies.
“Adam has helped our team through many projects, and no matter how big or small they are, he is always professional and highly focused on enhancing our abilities to make our projects run as smooth as possible, explained the nominator. “Adam works through issues and explains with step-by-step instructions in a very professional but thoughtful way.”
