Amerex kicked off the company’s summer internship program with an orientation session followed by a lunch with the interns’ managers and other team members at Ferus in Trussville. Human Resources Director Jacy Whitaker and Senior Human Resources Kristal Eatman have a robust program planned for the students designed to encourage team building, leadership and provide a sense of the Amerex culture. Activities include outings to popular Birmingham spots such as Top Golf, lunch and learns with speakers from around the company, a volunteer day and more. Each intern will spend the summer working on a project that he or she will present to Amerex leadership at the end of the term.
